COMPLETE CHAPTER SUMMARY
The chapter “Gamosa: A Thread of Love” is a beautiful script-based play centered around the celebration of Rongali Bihu in Assam. The story follows two siblings, Rumi and Bubu, and their friends who form a traditional husori dance group. They face a joyful dilemma of choosing which neighbor's house to visit first, settling on Minati jethai's courtyard because of her warmth and delicious Bihu treats.
During the performance, Bubu realizes he has misplaced his gamosa—a sacred handwoven cloth gifted by his grandmother (aita).
