Important:

1. Examination Timing: Morning Shift: from 9.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. & Afternoon Shift: from 1.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. (for 30/50/60 marks).

2. MIL (Modern Indian Languages) include: Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Garo, Hmar, Hindi, Khasi, Manipuri, Mizo, Nepali, Urdu, and Karbi.

3. Advance Languages include: Advance Assamese, Advance Bengali, Advance Bodo, Advance Hindi, and Advance Manipuri.

4. Music Group A include: Hindustani Vocal, Kathak Dance, Tabla, Violin, Sitar.

5. Music Group B include: Sattriya Vocal Music (Borgeet), Sattriya Dance, Khol.

6. Music Group C include: (i) Assamese Folk Music / (ii) Assamese Folk Dance. (Theory paper will be common for both subjects, but Practical paper will be different).

7. Vocational Subjects Include: Agri Engineering Technology / Accountancy & Auditing / Automobile Engineering Technology / Commercial Art / Commercial Garment Making & Designing / Computer Technique / Agriculture Science / Fishery Sciences / Electrical Mechanic and Electrical / Electronics Mechanics / Mechanical Engineering Technology / Office Management / Office Secretaryship / Repair and Maintenance of power Driven Farm Machinery / Textile Designing.

8. NSQF Subjects include: IT-ITeS / Retail Trade / Agriculture / Automotive / Private Security / Health Care / Electronics / Banking, Financial Services and Insurance / Beauty & Wellness / Physical Education and Sports / Tourism & Hospitality / Apparel Made ups Home Furnishing.

9. 10 (ten) minutes extra time is allowed from 8.50 a.m. to 9.00 a.m. in the morning shift and 1.20 p.m. to 1.30 p.m. in the afternoon shift to read the question paper only. The Officer-in-charge will arrange to distribute question papers accordingly.

10. The Practical Examinations will be held from 27th January 2026 to 7th February 2026 in each institution under jurisdiction of ASSEB, Div.-II where students were registered in 2024-25 session.
